Terms of use

ConformRadar is a free service that reads an online shop's public pages and flags points to check. By using it, you accept the terms below.

1. Publisher and audience

The service is published by … (the "publisher", see the legal notice). It is intended for online retail professionals and their advisers.

2. Access

Checks are free and require no account. To protect the service and the sites checked, the number of checks is limited per IP address (currently 5 per hour and 15 per day). These limits may change. The service may be interrupted for maintenance or in case of abuse.

3. Permitted use

4. Nature of reports

Each report is generated automatically, on a given date, from a sample of public pages. It may contain errors or omissions: the robot cannot see the customer area, the checkout, or information displayed only through JavaScript (see the method).

A report is neither legal advice, nor a certification, nor a certificate of compliance. It does not replace the analysis of a legal professional.

5. Liability

The publisher uses reasonable means to keep the checks accurate and up to date, without guaranteeing a result. The publisher is not liable for decisions made solely on the basis of a report, nor for any resulting indirect damage. These limits do not apply where the law prohibits limiting liability, in particular in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

6. Report addresses

Each report is available for 30 days at a hard-to-guess address excluded from search engines. Anyone with the link can view the report. To have a report about your site removed, write to contact@conformradar.com.

7. Intellectual property

The site, its texts, method and code belong to the publisher. You may freely use your reports for your business and quote them with a mention of ConformRadar. Excerpts from third-party sites quoted in a report remain the property of their authors.

8. Personal data

See the privacy policy.

9. Changes and governing law

These terms may change; the applicable version is the one published at the time of use. They are governed by French law. For disputes between professionals, the courts of Paris have jurisdiction.
